The Spring Edition of EdExpo Tanzania 2013 was a huge success with quality prospective learners from all over Dar es Salaam and beyond visiting the fair to meet representatives of 20 world class institutions and universities from all over the world.

Endorsed by the Tanzania Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, EdExpo Tanzania, Spring 2013 was held at the Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel from 13th to 15th March 2013, and provided representatives of participating institutions a platform to give prospective learners advise, counselling, guidance and other important information on different programs of study available to them.

Institutions represented included University of Newcastle, Australia; University of Johannesburg, South Africa;, Zealand Institute of Business and Technology, Denmark; University of Northampton, England; Savannah College of Art and Design, USA; Swiss Education Group, Switzerland; and Universiti Utara Malaysia

The European Union had a pavillion at the fair where they provided information on scholarships for Masters, PHDs and Research at institutions across Europe. This was also an opportunity for Erasmus Mundus alumni in Tanzania to network and catch up.

The Board of Investment of Mauritius also had a pavillion where various institutions and universities were represented including, Middlesex University, Grimus Institute of Technology, Open University of Mauritius, University of Wolverhampton, Anna Medical College, Amity University, Doha Academy and YK Business School. The delegation from Mauritius was led by the Mauritius Minister for Education, Dr the Hon Rajeshwar Jeetah.
